This class is specific to the nuances of the 1911 platform. Shooters will gain a full understanding of the 1911 and why it is different than shooting other handguns. All modern handguns can trace their lineage in one way or another back to the 1911. John Moses Browning designed this platform over 100 years ago, and while materials have changed, his creation has stood the test of time as one the finest fighting pistols ever produced.

The student will gain a knowledge of the proper handling and techniques for manipulating the 1911. This class will also feature a classroom portion that will focus on cleaning and proper disassembly, maintenance, modifications, troubleshooting malfunctions and performance issues.
