As a new, or returning member, you will need to complete a New Member Orientation before your membership is approved. We have modified the orientation sessions to comply with Covid-19 restrictions.

The WCGC New Member Power Point Presentation (ABOVE) is part 1 of a 2 part Orientation. Upon completion of watching the WCGC New Member Power Point Presentation, you are now ready for Part 2, an In-Person Orientation at the WCGC Range. Sessions are approximately 1 hour long. We hold several orientation sessions every month. The dates are the second and forth weekends of the month. The sessions are at 10:00 AM or 12:00 Noon each day and are limited to 6 persons per session. Please email Ruthann at to request which session you would like to attend and the number of people attending. Please include your first and last name and please state that you have watched in completion the WCGC New Member Power Point Presentation.

We will be conducting Orientation Part 2 sessions outdoors, on the patio to the rear of the clubhouse, which is located at the shotgun range. The Range Safety Officer (RSO) who is presenting the orientation will be able to answer any questions you have about the powerpoint presentation. He might ask you questions about the presentation. After the Q&A session, each person at the orientation will be asked to demonstrate their ability to safely handle a firearm. The RSO will then take you on a tour of the various ranges and facility.

Bring a firearm with you to do the safe-handling demonstration. Do not bring any ammunition with you to the orientation. If you plan on shooting after the orientation, please leave all ammunition secured in your vehicle.

You will be issued your membership card and the gate combination (if eligible) at the completion of the New Member Orientation and the Board of Directors has approved your membership.

Be sure to sign up and complete an orientation session soon!
