I would like to thank everyone who participated in WCGC Fall Safety Day and made it a success. ER trauma Dr. Caleb Baily and veteran Navy nurse Kyle Fleher, gave a tremendously educational free gunshot medical care and CPR demonstration. The US Forest Service showed up in force with a huge green firetruck for the kids to play on. The California Fish & Game Department, the San Marcos Volunteer Fire Department, and the San Marcos Wildland Residence Association all set up booths and gave out great fire prevention and safety info. We were even graced by Lt. Ugo (Butch) Arnoldi, of the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office, who oversees the Carpinteria Station.
Paratus Training and WCGC staff provided knowledgeable gun/range safety training. Shalhoob Meats provided the best tri-tip sandwiches in Santa Barbara, and Sol Wave Water was on hand with free water and hydration tips.
All made possible by our amazing local sponsor, Mission Security.
Thank you to all those who participated!
