Perfect place to sight your gear in with its 100 yard range. $20 per person and kids under 18 go in for free. Targets are free on weekends ( plus)
The Range Masters are professional and have safety as their number one concern.
One of them even took the time to teach my kid to shoot, but before that he called another RM to watch over the rest of the visitors! Awesome!
Family oriented, safe, and professional.
Oh the handgun range was good enough to be able to learn the basics.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chris J.Santa Barbara, CA0783Jul 21, 2020
So far just trying to get a membership has been a hassle. You get conflicting messages about receiving a membership card. Their default payment method doesn't work, I received a message that my orientation has been completed and I should have received my membership card after orientation but never did the orientation. Or received a card.
And I got a confirmation that my membership has been processed with stipulations that I can only go when open to the public and not have gate code access.
So basically I paid money for being able to do what the general public non member can do with no membership benefits.
I hope they can rectify these problems. I emailed a couple days ago about my questions regarding all these problems. With no response yet.
Edit they never responded about getting a useless membership I disputed with my credit card company this place is a scamHelpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daniel A.CA, CA06434Apr 5, 2022
I went shooting for my first time in years! It was $20 per person. The attendants their were safety oriented and kind. They gave us some tips and coaching. Really fun time. Very safe. Beautiful drive up there as well!

Went to the range this weekend with a friend of mine who was visiting from out of town. We were interested in trying out the Trap and Skeet range but had never done it before. I tried calling but no one picked up. However the answering machine said to email the range manager for a quick response and they were super quick to reply.
Had to drive slowly once we got close because you can easily miss that first entrance if you're looking to go to the handgun/rifle range. We checked that out and then went to the Trap and Skeet range to check in. We told them it was our first time and they were a bit hesitant at first but later had someone come to give us instructions and even took us to an unoccupied range to let us fire some practice rounds. John was really helpful and took some one on one time with us to make sure we got the hang of it. He continued to coach us until we were comfortable and hitting over 50% of the clays going out.
Will definitely be coming back here!
Note: They only rent out shotguns here so if you plan on doing handgun, rifle or archery range you have to bring your own firearms. Although they do carry a good range of ammunition.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mike B.Ontario, CA014Jul 16, 2021
Loved coming here. We went for our friend's bachelor party to try clay shooting, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Beautiful views and wildlife too.

Fantastic, safe, friendly, clean, and large shooting range.
They have quite a few ranges setup including trap, skeet, sporting clays, shotgun, handgun, and rifle ranges. They also have a member's only 200 yard range as well. Great location.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tim O.Garden Grove, CA1095523Aug 25, 2015First to Review
Rob is the man.
Bachelor party weekend, so the bunch of us decided to come up here and blow shit up. It was a bit of an adventure finding the place, since cell signal gets non-existent and the directions initially sent us the wrong way. Also when we got there everything was closed up with no one around (turns out they were prepping for an event of some sort, but we found them eventually).
Not everyone in the group had shot before, but Rob made sure the experience was fun and comfortable for everyone. The safety lesson went by, and the rest of the night was basically just Rob giving us pointers, launching off pigeons, and letting us have fun.
Rob's focus the entire night was making sure we were having a good time. He would spend extra time coaching anyone who was having a bit of trouble, once it got cold he offered extra jackets he had to anyone who was underdressed. And he was a hilariously foul-mouth, self-professed redneck (not in a bad way at all).
If I at all lived in the area, I would definitely come back.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Greg K.Berkeley, CA15Sep 2, 2019
A family friendly, participant regulated gun club, nestled in the hills above Santa Barbara, where getting there is part of the adventure. No attitude, just a welcoming place to hone your abilities and be part of the community. Bring a lunch and enjoy the day.
